As the rain tapped gently against my window, I savored the luxury of sleeping in, which is a RARE event for me. I have an unusual sleep schedule typically, due to the nature of this work, but that Sunday was something special. My body and mind allowed for me to sleep in 2 hours past my usual wake up time, and it was serene. With no rush to begin the day, I relished the peace and tranquility that comes with the sound of rainfall. Wrapping myself in a warm blanket, I brewed a cup of coffee and curled up beside my puppy to watch the rainfall outside.
A rainy Sunday is the perfect occasion to explore culinary creativity in the kitchen. With an array of fresh (and not lol) ingredients at hand, I embarked on a culinary adventure.
