A set of criteria within an industry relating to the standard functioning and carrying out of operations in their respective fields of production. It is the generally accepted requirements followed by the members of an industry. As sex workers, we believe that standards and regulations should come from within the industry, not outside of it. Sex industry workers have the knowledge, skills and capacity to shape the sex industry into one that prioritizes health, safety and wellness of those who work within it, as well as dispelling myths and educating others.
